Four new ministers, two state ministers take oath

DHAKA, Aug 21, 2026 (BSS)- President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has administered oath to four ministers and two state ministers.
New ministers are BNP Standing Committee member Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan MP, State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Rashiduzzaman Millat MP, Prime Minister's Foreign Affairs Adviser Humaiun Kobir, Chairman of Bangladesh National Party (BJP)  Andaleeve Rahman Partho MP.
The two state ministers are Saching Prue Jerry, parliament member from Bandarban and Mohammad Shamim Kaiser Lincoln, parliament member from Gaibandha-4 constituency.
President Mirza Fakhrul first administered oath of the office and later administered oath of secrecy to the newly appointed ministers, state ministers.
