National flag-draped coffin of Sharif Osman Hadi reaches Dhaka

The body of Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inqilab Moncho, reached the country this evening. 
A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the coffin landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 5: 48pm, Boshra Islam, Spokesperson of Biman Bangladesh Airlines told The Daily Star.
The flight BG 585 took off from Singapore's Changi International Airport at 4:03pm local time (2:03pm Dhaka time) en route to Dhaka with the body of Sharif Osman Hadi on board.
The coffin was covered with the national flag. 
Sharif Osman Hadi passed away at Singapore General Hospital on Thursday night. 
Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has declared a one-day state mourning on Saturday following the death of Sharif Osman Hadi.
On December 12, Hadi sustained a critical head injury after being shot by assailants while campaigning in Purana Paltan in the capital.
After receiving initial treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital and Evercare Hospital, he was airlifted to Singapore on December 15 for advanced medical care, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
