The second day of the “Boishakhi Children’s Festival 2026,” organized by Serov Academy of Fine Arts—one of the country’s renowned cultural education institutions established in 1989—was held on Saturday  in a joyful, colorful, and festive atmosphere.

Established in 1989, Serov Academy of Fine Arts is one of the country’s leading cultural education institutions dedicated to nurturing creativity among children and young learners. The academy regularly organizes national and international competitions, exhibitions, cultural festivals, workshops, and training programs.

The festival began on the first day with drawing, music, and handwriting competitions across three age groups, with participation from over 200 students. The second day featured a day-long Boishakhi fair, followed by formal cultural performances, a magic show, and certificate and prize distribution, marking the conclusion of the festival.

The event was graced by internationally acclaimed artist Alia Sultana Leena Laich as the Chief Guest. Special guests included Founder Director Prashanta Kumar Barman and Director Syed Bazlul Hasan.

The program opened with a warm welcome by students with flowers and traditional ceremonial scarves. Cultural performances included songs, recitations, and dance, reflecting the richness of Bengali heritage.

A magic show by renowned magician Shaheen Shah added a special attraction to the event.

The final segment of the program included the distribution of certificates to all participants and the awarding of prizes to the winners.

The academy expressed its commitment to continuing such initiatives for the creative and cultural development of the younger generation.
