U.S. Ambassador Brent T. Christensen inaugurated the
American Founders Museum at the Edward M. Kennedy Center in Dhaka today.
The museum, a White House initiative developed with the U.S. Department of
Education and PragerU, explores the ideas, people, and events that shaped
America's independence.
Part of Freedom 250—America's 250th anniversary celebration—the exhibition is
on view at U.S. institutions worldwide.
The Embassy will expand access to the
exhibit by installing smaller versions at five additional American Corners across
Bangladesh in Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka, Rajshai, and Sylhet.
