Sergio Gor concludes Bangladesh visit, reaffirms commitment to a stronger Bilateral relationship

U.S. Special Envoy for South and Central Asia
Ambassador Sergio Gor concluded his July 30 - August 1 visit to
Bangladesh. During his time in Dhaka, Special Envoy Ambassador Gor met with
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman and
discussed the political and economic dynamics shaping U.S.-Bangladesh
relations. He also visited Rohingya refugee camps in Cox's Bazar. The visit
highlighted the breadth and depth of the U.S.-Bangladesh relationship.
