Hajj flights from Ctg begin today

Direct Hajj flights from Chattogram are scheduled to begin this afternoon.

A Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying 419 pilgrims will depart from Shah Amanat International Airport for Madina at 5:30pm, Boshra Islam, general manager (public relations) at Biman Bangladesh Airlines, told The Dhaka Diplomat.

The airport authorities already started the reporting and immigration procedures for the pilgrims when the report was filed around 1:15pm.

Biman will start Hajj flights from Sylhet Osmani International Airport on May 14.
