Russian House in Dhaka organized an educational seminar on October 9 about opportunities for higher education in Russia under the Government of the Russian Federation's scholarship quota for applicants from Bangladesh who wish to enroll in Russian universities.

Pavel Dvoychenkov, the director of the Russian House in Dhaka, informed participants about the selection process for higher educational programs and additional professional education within the quota established by the Government of the Russian Federation and the application process for candidates on the online platform https://education-in-russia.com.

Since establishing diplomatic relations, Russia has played a significant role in creating educational opportunities in Bangladesh. Russian universities have accepted thousands of students from Bangladesh under this quota over the years, offering them a unique chance to immerse themselves in world-class education. These students return home not only with academic knowledge but also with valuable experiences that broaden their horizons and contribute to the future of their country.

Pavel Dvoychenkov spoke about the high level of Russian education and the achievements of Bangladeshi graduates who hold high positions in government and business, as well as the professional prospects for the youth of Bangladesh applying for education in Russia. The higher education system in the Russian Federation comprises over 750 universities and more than 650 specialties across various levels of education.

The event featured presentations from Russian language course instructors at the Russian House in Dhaka and university rectors from Bangladesh who received their education in Russia. During the seminar, Antor Mahamudul Hashan, a lecturer from the National University of Science and Technology MISIS in Moscow and a Doctor of Science in Information Technology shared insights online about higher education in Russian universities and discussed his practical experiences studying in Russia.

As part of the event participants watched video presentations about Russian education and received answers to their questions regarding registration details on the online platform https://education-in-russia.com.

The application process for quotas for the next academic year began on October 7 and will continue until January 15, 2025.

Participants also learned about the activities of the Russian House, the opportunities to study the Russian language through its courses, and the chance to participate in various youth programs.
