Russian House hosts live broadcast of "InsPowered by Atoms: Our Dream for the Next 70 Years"

A plenary session titled "InsPowered by Atoms: Our Dream for the Next 70 Years" was broadcast on 26 June 2024 at the Russian House in Dhaka in cooperation with the Information Center of Rosatom State Corporation in Bangladesh as part of the program of the II International Youth Nuclear Forum Obninsk NEW 2024.

The plenary session was broadcast live from the II International Youth Forum "New" (Russia) in Obninsk. The session was attended by the Head of Rosatom State Corporation Alexei Likhachev; top managers of nuclear companies and the President of the World Nuclear Association, Bilbao y León Sama; Executive Director of the regional nuclear education network STAR-NET, Professor at the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, Russian Federation, Andrey Kosilov; Deputy Director General for Human Resources, Rosatom State Corporation, Tatyana Terentyeva and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Chernyshenko as well as representatives of international organizations.

During the session, the speakers said that 70 years ago, the world saw how a dream came true: the power of nuclear energy was used for the benefit of mankind with the launch of the first nuclear power plant. Inspired by the power and potential of the atom, scientists, engineers, writers, artists, doctors, teachers, and many others have contributed to important milestones in world history.

Participants received exclusive insights into the future of nuclear power and how to thrive in science and technology for the next 70 years alongside the nuclear family.
