Born on July 3, 1941, in Batna, Algeria, Liamine Zéroual began his career in the Algerian army at the age of 16. Rising through the ranks, he commanded key military regions and later served as Algeria’s Ambassador to Romania, gaining valuable diplomatic experience. His appointment as Chief of Land Forces in 1989 marked a significant milestone in his distinguished military career.including the longstanding and friendly ties between Algeria and Bangladesh.
