The investigation agency of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has submitted its report against ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina and two others in a case filed over crimes against humanity during last year's July mass uprising.
The other accused are former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and former inspector general of police Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun.
The investigators handed over the report along with other supporting documents to Chief Prosecutor Mohammad Tajul Islam at the tribunal this morning.
This is the first probe report submitted against Hasina.
Earlier, on April 20, the agency submitted its investigation report -- the first related to crimes against humanity allegedly committed during the uprising -- to the office of the chief prosecutor.
The investigation agency of the ICT found the involvement of eight police personnel, including former Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) commissioner Habibur Rahman, in crimes -- including killings -- committed during last year's mass uprising in the capital's Chankharpool area.
